Infectious Diseases Week 2025 (IDWeek) is scheduled for October 19 to 22, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will be held in a hybrid format, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options to accommodate healthcare professionals from various locations and specialties.
IDWeek is a collaborative annual meeting organized by five leading organizations in infectious diseases: the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). These groups provide a unified platform to support education and advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases.
Each year, IDWeek gathers a diverse group of professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, researchers, nurses, epidemiologists, and public health experts. The conference covers a wide range of topics such as infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, emerging diseases, pediatric infections, HIV care, global health, and vaccination strategies. It offers attendees the chance to stay current with scientific research and evolving clinical practices.
Attendees can earn continuing education credits including CME, CPE, CNE, or MOC through designated sessions, supporting their professional development.
